My Hannah Banana's Fight

Hannah's journey started when she was just 10 months old. She was diagnosed with a rare virus that makes tumors grow on the vocal cords, trachea and eventually spread to her lungs. She required to undergo surgery every two weeks. At 1 1/2 years old the doctor had to place a tracheotomy tube in order for her to breath.
We started traveling to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia twice a month since she was 3 years old for her surgeries. Since then, she has been through numerous experimental treatments. The tumors in her lungs have caused many infections throughout the years, in some instances being hospitalized for weeks at a time and having surgery to drain out the infection.
Five years ago at the age of 12 she started a new experimental drug that worked wonders for her. By the second infusion the doctor took out the tracheotomy tube and the surgeries for the removal of the tumors extended to every six months. Hannah was able , for the first time, to go swimming and live a somewhat a normal life. Unfortunately on November 2020 Hannah had just turned 17 our lives completely changed, our worst nightmare materialized. Hannah was diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell lung cancer. She had to undergo 7 weeks of agressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
We had numerous hospitalizations and ambulance runs. We are still in this fight. She is currently recieving immunotherapy infusions every three weeks for a whole year. In addition, her routine surgeries have gone back to every month. Unfortunately, the tumors on her vocal cords, trachea and lungs are coming back faster than before. This unfortunate situation has put a strain in our finances, as a single mother and sole provider for the household. In the midst of everything we lost our old car and traveling has become very difficult.
As you can imagine we have an overwhelming amount of doctors appointments , resulting in loss of work hours. Any help that can be extended would be highly appreciated. Most of all please countinue to pray for Hannah and our family. God bless you all!
