My wish before I die is for my daughter to have her Dad here

MAHAYLA NEEDS HER DAD HERE SO SHE ISNT LEFT WITHOUT A PARENT WHEN I DIE.

I was diagnosed with Smoldering Multiple Myeloma (a rare type of bone marrow cancer arising from plasma cells. Myeloma Australia ) roughly 2 and a half years ago (during covid). During this time my daughter Mahayla and I hadn't seen her dad/my husband Diva for nearly 3 years as we were still in lockdown and he still lives in Bali.

We have been together since 2012, Mahayla was born in 2014 and we married in 2015. Since 2014 Diva has been coming to Australia on a tourist visa and only able to stay 3 months at a time and every time he had to head back it broke our hearts as we never knew if or when he would be able to return. I did try to take Mahayla over to Bali as often as I could but it was hard to get time off work or for me to be able to afford it being the sole income earner in our family.

Mahayla is now 10 years old and Diva is on his final 2 visits on his tourist visa, immigration have told us he needs to apply for a permanent visa now as he will not be granted another visitor visa.

My haematologist discussed the possibility of stem cell transplant at my last appointment, which would mean a stay of 3 weeks in the Peter Mac Hospital. Then there is the chemotherapy my haematologist wants to start within the next year (depending on my blood tests). Mahayla and I need Diva here to care for us and provide for us while I am having treatment to prolong my life.

We need to apply for Diva's permanent visa while he is in Australia so he can be granted a bridging visa and stay with us until his permanent visa is approved. As I stated above Diva only has two 3 month visits left on his currnt visitor visa and then we won't have any chance of applying for a permanent visa while onshore. We must apply before Christmas 2024.

With all the challenges of normal day to day live being hard enough, I really really need my husband here to support both Mahayla and I, not only emotional but financially too. Working alone to support our family is taking its toll on my body and my mental health. The fear of dying from this horrible disease is bad enough but the thought of leaving my 10 year old daughter without a parent in the same country as her is a nightmare I live with every day. I have tried to get some of my superannuation out to cover the visa, I do qualify as this is a terminal disease but because I am still working they will not approve my claim. I can't stop working, I have a daughter to support. So this is my last chance, I have tried everything I can to save and raise this money.

The $15000 will cover the cost of the visa application, Divas medical check and advice from a immigration agent.

I have never been someone that asks for help, to proud I guess but I know I have to try everything I can for my daughter to make sure she has her Dad living here and set up working before I leave this world. Please I need your help xx
