HELP SELESTE

On September 28, 2107, Seleste Wisniewski’s husband, Pedro Hernandez was deported back to Mexico. Pedro was in the United States legally as he had a work visa that did not expire until February 2018. Pedro and Seleste are the loving parents of three children, Juan 28, Stephanie 20, and Luis 10. Juan has special needs and is wheelchair bound. Pedro was the primary caregiver of Juan. He was the only one in the family that could lift Juan in and out of his bed and wheelchair. Pedro and Seleste both worked 2 jobs to provide a stable and loving home for their family. Now Seleste is left alone to care for her children.

Their world was turned upside down when ICE showed up unexpectedly at their door step in mid August. Pedro and Seleste started a legal battle to keep Pedro in the U.S. In doing so, they exhausted all of their savings. Seleste struggles to maintain their home as Pedro was the main breadwinner of the family.

Seleste is an amazing person who is in need of our help. Not only has she lost her husband and her children their father, she must now assume the responsibilities of caring for Juan and providing for her family. It is heartbreaking enough that this family has been separated. Seleste is striving to keep a roof over their head and food on the table. Anything you can give to help relieve some of the financial burden she faces will be a blessing.
