Donation protected
Hello, dear freedom lovers and right-owners supporters! This is Abdullah, a 25-year-old nurse and a proud graduate of Palestine Nursing College. Today I reach out to you with a heavy heart as I have this injured body stained with blood, so many stitches, a lame leg, a partly deaf ear, and an infected head. It's ironic and heart- breaking that I am supposed to be healing people's wounds instead of being in an urgent need to be rescued. This is my 3-chapters story.
- [ ] Chapter ONE: Before October 7th, 2023:
In my hometown Gaza, I grew up having the determination to prove myself despite all the circulating circumstances that impede me and all of my generation as the siege, the unemployment and the shortages in the medical sector that I chose to be a part of. When I decided to be a nurse eight years ago, I had no idea that I would be injured in a near-death experience two months after signing my job contract in Alshefa' hospital.
After my graduation in 2020, I started putting my life on the right and desired track by being financially independent as I had immediately started working under different contracts in various places. I worked in Al-naser Children hospital, Al-rantisi hospital and finally in Alshefa' hospital, the largest medical complex in Palestine. I started becoming an experienced nurse after being just an excellent and a smart nursing student. During this journey, the mental picture of Abdullah, the nurse, was becoming clearer in front of my eyes and I was getting closer day after day to my dream; to work in the USA, the best destination for any nurse. Fulfilling my dream needed the experience and passing the NCLEX. In my last location, Alshefa' hospital, I found the stability to start preparing for my next huge step. I started studying really hard after the long and exhausting shifts. I couldn't chill out until I reach the stars. That was my life before October 7th.
- [ ] Chapter TWO: October 7th, 2023:
This is the shortest but the painfullest and the most dramatic chapter of my life. What happened on that day was beyond my imagination. I just got dressed and flew to work at 6:00 am active like a bird having no idea that the coming hours would turn my life, health and my body up-side down. Briefly, On my way to Alshefa' hospital to save people's lives, I was bombed. Without a reason or a gilt I found myself in the Intensive CARE leaving all my family behind me wheeping and praying for my survival. On the contrary of my cousin who had the same level of injury and died because of it, with Allah's mercy I miraculously survived. This is the bombs signature on my body. Have a look!

- [ ] Chapter THREE: After October 7th,2023:
How hard it's to look into the mirror deeply looking for myself. There's nothing of my old self left to me. I used to be a handsome guy, but now I have to go on my life with an eternal fingerprints of the injury all over my body. I have to complete my journey with a limping leg, and a partly deaf ear asking people to repeat what the say twice! I have to go on with the stitches remarks all over my face and my head. I have to go on with the fragments burns effects on my back, feet and arms. Since then, I am always wondering WHY?
Currently, I am back to the field in a nearby hospital to help my people although of my medical status. I so wanted to get back to my beloved spot, Alshefa, but when the pigs fly since it's located in NORTH GAZA, so no one from the Center or South areas is allowed to go to this red area as the Israeli Army labeled. Moreover, Alshefa is turned into a complex of ghosts as it’s completely burnt out!

Nowadays, my heart is devastated as well as my hometown. My body is still bleeding as all of my fellow people. I can't continue living this real nightmare! I need to complete my treatment in a safe place where I also can start dreaming and stand on my feet again because the circle of life stopped in this burning city. It hurts me so much that I am even trying to leave my beloved city. I had a fascinating life in Gaza. I had a great career that I adored more than anything in the globe. However, all I need now to escape the death that I see everyday on every face and at every corner in Gaza.
This campaign aims at raising $15,000 to help me getting a permit that can get me out to a safe life in Egypt. Don't hesitate in donating any penny as it'll definitely conrtibute in me surviving this war.
