Support for Zarah and Zachary: Navigating Life After Loss

On September 1, 2024, the unimaginable happened. Nataki, a loving mother and a dedicated professional, tragically passed away, leaving behind her two children, Zarah (19) and Zachary (17). This heartbreak comes just a few short years after the loss of their father, Michael, who was the love of Nataki's life. The children are now left to navigate the immense loss of both parents while still adjusting to life in a new country.

Nataki’s journey to Canada in January 2021 was one of courage and determination. As a widow, she came with her children from their home country to build a better life and to pursue her education. Nataki enrolled in the University of Winnipeg's PACE diploma program in Human Resource Management, where she excelled. She went on to work at Shared Health as an HR Assistant for nearly two years before moving to British Columbia to join Fraser Health Authority as a Recruiter.

Nataki’s life was one of resilience, and her love for Zarah and Zachary was always at the heart of everything she did. But now, without their parents' love and guidance, Zarah and Zachary are left to build their future on their own in a foreign country. They are both incredibly bright and full of potential, but the emotional and financial toll they now face is immense.

We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help support Zarah and Zachary during this difficult time. The funds will be used to help cover living expenses, educational costs, and any other immediate needs they may have as they adjust to this new reality.
