Nathan's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
On Tuesday, September 4, Nathan Winters, an otherwise very healthy thirty-year-old, was diagnosed with testicular cancer that has metastasized to the lymph nodes in the lower back. Initial surgery was successful, but that is only the beginning of his cancer battle. He is facing sixteen weeks of very aggressive chemo therapy to relieve himself of the 10cm in diameter tumor that is damaging his kidneys, intestinal tract, and cardiovascular systems, as well as causing other problematic symptoms.
He is being treated at Duke University Cancer Institute and Medical Center, which is over three hundred miles from home and expenses associated with this sixteen weeks of chemo therapy will be quite a burden. He will receive treatments five days straight, followed by only two days of rest. Nathan and his family are extremely grateful for your care, your thoughts and prayers, and any support you might provide. We love you all. And thank you a million times again.
