Who this will help

My name is Isabel Castillo daughter of Ismael Castillo who has recently been diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease. He is currently in the hospital having catheters put into his body to get dialysis.

Why I'm fundraising

The purpose of this is to get my dad released from the hospital into a place approved by the dialysis program. My dad lives in Tijuana Mexico and good places are hard to find. It’s important for my dad to have a place that meets the dialysis program protocols since the main issues with dialysis catheters are infections due to environmental conditions. With this life changing diagnosis and new lifestyle my dad will have to focus on getting better. He will not be able to work for a few months but as we know bills don’t stop. He will need help for a couple months.

The impact of your support

The funds will be used for a new place. First month and deposit to get into the place and for the following months. Having this help will have such a positive impact on my dad because he will not have to worry about a roof over his head while he gets used to this dramatic change. This support to me means everything. Knowing my dad is able to fully focus on his health is my biggest priority.
