As we have all learnt this past week the unimaginable can happen. Please hug your loved ones, say I love you and connect with your family and friends often. Please share this for us so we can reach as many people as possible.
We are all so blessed to have you all by our side as we try to navigate through this terrible time.
We always knew that Nick Greenwood our son had a heart bigger then himself, but to hear it from all of you has brought peace to our hearts.
Thank you to all of you that have reached out to us through a text message, visits and phone calls. Thank you for the delicious meals, baking, flowers and gift cards for the nights we just can’t do it! To all of you who stopped by, to check in on us and to offer a hug. For the donations to the Go Fund and donations dropped off at the church.
Thank you to all of our family, friends, neighbors, and everyone who had a part in making the funeral service so beautiful. It was nice to see so many of Nick friends there.
We love you all and can not thank you enough. We would not have made it through these last couple of days without you.
Lots of love from Rob,Johanna, Jenell, Diego, Chris,Katie and Declan❤️

Hi my name is Marianne Hubbard, and I am setting up this account to help raise money for funeral expenses for the family of Nicholas Greenwood. This young man was born 31 years ago at the coast, but raised in Montrose by his amazing parents Rob and Johanna. He has two siblings, Jenell and Diego and the 5 of them together are an amazing and inspirational family that always have been there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need..
Nicholas died unexpectedly on Tuesday November 5th, and this has devastated his family. Nicholas was very sick a few years ago but fought really hard to live and there was a time where he was solely supported by help from his family. Now his family needs us. This is a family that never asks for anything from anyone, but always reaches out and gives to everyone else. If you ever needed help with a project, a meal, help with an event, they are always the first to jump in and help. We all love this family, and now it is our turn to jump in and help them, as I know they would do the same for us in a heartbeat. If for some reason you cannot donate through this page, you can go to Holy Trinity Church in Trail or to St Michael's School as both places will also be accepting donations to help lessen the burden for the Greenwood Family. Nicholas was so very loved and will live on through his family. The Greenwood family needs us, and I hope and pray that some of you can help out this family through this very difficult time.
You are welcome to attend his funeral on November 16th at Holy Trinity Church at 2012 Third Avenue in East Trail. The family appreciates all of your love and support.
