Nob Hill Fire
In the wee hours of the morning on August 18, we had a disaster strike that we were unprepared for. We were sleeping in bed and woke up to a fire inches away from us. We are unbelievably blessed that we were all able to get out of the apartment, puppy in tow. Every one of our neighbors made it out safely as well and after seeing the extent ofthe damage, we can see how truly fortunate that is.
It’s been a shock and honestly, Steve and I still haven’t come to terms with his massive this loss is. We’re so thankful we woke up, saw the fire and were able to get out safely but it’s overwhelming trying to quantify the loss of 3 lives worth of memories.
We so appreciate everyone’s offers of help. Right now we’re facing the really tough reality of figuring out how to rebuild and get our lives back on track. The best way to help us right now is here, because honestly, we’re still coming to grips with what we need and everything we’ve lost. Anything you can contribute will be a huge help.
If you text or call and we miss you, we’re so sorry! Things are just so chaotic right now but we’ll get back to everyone as soon as we can.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s helped so far and everyone who’s reached out.
We love you all and thank you so much! <3
