Welcome to our 2nd annual non-fundraiser FUNDRAISER
BECAUSE EVERY KID LOVES A NEW BOX OF CRAYONS
We have had many people suggest that they would prefer to make a donation rather than be tasked with selling cookies, cheese, sausages, flowers etc. THIS is your chance. We are planning on doing one non-fundraiser FUNDRAISER annually, in an effort to reduce everyone’s workload and additional volunteer hours, and to increase our time with our children, family and friends.
Why is Alpenglow seeking donations? Alpenglow needs funding to support the everyday demands of running our school. This fundraiser will help us bridge the gap between student fees and our real program costs. Every dollar raised directly supports the operational needs of our school. It will allow us to provide the unique supplies, staff support and teacher training that make Alpenglow one of Alberta’s most unique alternative education programs.
What’s a NON-Fundraiser, anyway?
A NON-Fundraiser Fundraiser is all about making it simple for you, your friends and family to donate directly to the school.
How you can help
Make an online donation and share the NON-Fundraiser Fundraiser with Grannies and Grampas, Aunties and Uncles, cousins, neighbours and friends. Every contribution is appreciated. If every family asked 10 people to contribute $20, then we would surpass our goal of raising $20,000 for our school.
These supplies are unique – and essential – to Alpenglow’s program. Our classrooms are full of eager, busy, creative souls who need yarn and crayons, wax and wool, paper and paint to let their imaginations soar. For your contribution you could be providing them with:
Wax for candles........................ $25
Boxes of crayons...................... $40
Yarn and needles..................... $50
Felting supplies........................ $75
Food for snacks....................... $100
Gardening supplies............... $150
Big pile of books..................... $250
Outdoor experience............. $500
Weekend camping trip........ $1000
Springfest sponsorship....... $2000
Secret Fairy.... Any amount < $25 (no tax receipt issued)
Magical Gnome........ Any amount > $25 (with tax receipt)
Lucky Leprechaun........... I agree to match the total amount donated to the NON-Fundraiser Fundraiser
