North Country Snowmobile Club Groomer Fire

It was a sad day for North Country Snowmobile Club - UP.  Last night, our New Holland quad track groomer started on fire 6 miles up Lake of the Clouds trail.  Our groomer operator is unharmed, but the machine is a total loss. This has been a tough season for our area.  Many of our sponsoring businesses have been shut down or pressed to a minimal takeout model by the ongoing pandemic.   With indoor dining poised to re-open on Monday, we need to be at the top of our game to facilitate the local economy in a quick recovery by providing the best trails possible.  Please assist us in our support of this community as we investigate all options to respond quickly and positively to this major set back.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to cover expenses incurred that may not be fully covered by insurance, or reimbursed by the MI DNR.  This organization is a not for profit, volunteer organization.  All funds received are put directly back into operations and equipment for trail grooming and improvements.  We take pride in our trail system, and want to provide the best experience for riders coming to our area and supporting the local economy.
