Help Ash get something off his chest (top surgery)

Hiya! My name is Ash and I'm a transmasculine guy trying to raise funds for a double mastectomy top surgery.

Getting this surgery would allow me to finally be properly at home in my body and generally far more comfortable with myself. I've suffered with gender dysphoria for years and I wouldn't wish it on anyone - it's the feeling of there constantly being something wrong and uncomfortable and there's nothing I can do to change it, I literally feel like I'm stuck in a body that isn't really mine. Which is exactly why this surgery is so important to me and so many other trans people like me, it's a chance to actually live your life in a body that feels right. (It will also put an end to my god awful posture Ive developed from years of hunching over to hide my chest, causing me a HORRENDOUS amount of back problems)

Anything you are able to donate would be a massive help to me as I am currently a student and am only able to work part time, although I've been saving everything I earn.

I'm aware this is a very lofty goal, (the total includes the cost of the surgery itself, hospital fees, anaesthetists, dressings, garments, overnight stay etc) but going privately is really the only option as NHS waiting times are currently 5+ years for just the initial consultation. But it's exactly for this reason that every single penny helps!
