Omni’s Road to Recovery

This effort is to help Omni Smigliani, son of Marco Smigliani and Kimberly McDowell recover from a terrible car accident that occurred on the night of January 26, 2024. Omni along with three friends hydroplaned into a tree - all suffered injuries. His best friend Charlie also has severe head trauma, please see his gofundme here, and the other two young men have broken bones. Omni is now being hospitalized after having an emergency craniotomy removing the left half of his skull to remove a large subdural hematoma. They will be leaving the skull removed to allow room for any swelling that may occur; he has many brain contusions as well. He is in an induced coma and in critical condition. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. 

My name is Shanon Bianco and I am Omni’s Aunt. All funds raised here are being transferred into a new bank account with Omni as the beneficiary. Funds will be used to help with medical costs, along with helping Marco and Kim while they stay by his side with food, lodging, gas etc.
