One more battle!

Well, we thought this battle was over the first time. However, in January of this year, April was once again diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. This time it came back larger and more agressive than before. And it also spread into the upper neck. So with 2 tumors and 1 addtional area of concern we find ourselves once again fighting a giant.

 

Recently, April successfully completed 25 rounds of radiation treatment. And the result was a drop of 50% in mass overall. We are so thankful for this miracle of modern medicine. But that leaves us halfway home. So that being said we are heading back to Marbella, Spain on May 8, 2022 to complete more treatment to reduce the tumor to nothing. This is a progressive and non-invasive treatment that has been perfected to reducing or completely removing tumors with a success rate of 95%. We do know that it worked the last time even though we still don't have answers as of why it reoccurred. Once this treatment is complete, we will come back to the states for imaging and further treatment if needed.

 

Our goal of $20k will cover the follow during our stay for 20 days.

 

$14k for treatment

$2k for airfare

$2k for lodging

$1k local transportation

$1k for food and incidentals.

 

If you know me, you know that I absolutely hate asking for help. But that's pride talking. We have been surrounded by the greatest community of people and have been asked multiple times how they can contribute to April’s treatment so we thought this would be the easiest and most concise way to share. So, I am humbling asking for any assistance that can be given to help April win this battle. However, what we covet more than anything is your faithful and believing prayer over her life. We so trust in our Lord's promise in Matthew 18:19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” So even if you cannot give, you can pray and for that we are more than grateful.
