Opportunity for Studying Abroad

Hello, my name is Nicholas Cooper. I am 20 years old and currently a Junior at Western Kentucky University within the Gordon Ford College of Business with a Dual-Major Concentration in Business Management & Administration and Entrepreneurship. I have an opportunity to Study abroad for two weeks in Paris, Bordeaux, Brussels, and Bruges during the Summer of 2023. I believe this will be an excellent opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience, albeit outside my standard field of study. Much like the courses in Business Management, this Hospitality Management Study Abroad program offers comprehensive insights into the structure and functioning of companies and organizations. This opportunity to study abroad will further my abilities in management skills, such as leadership and delegation, teamwork and communication, IT, analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving. This trip also heavily emphasizes cuisine as an aspect of the experience. I have four years of experience in the food service industry with a ServSafe certification, and this opportunity will further enhance my knowledge in this area of expertise. I will also have the chance to travel, which I have craved since I decided to attend higher education. The funds raised here will cover the total price of the trip. These expenses include room and board, meals, transportation via plane, train, bus, and boat, workshops, learning events, and tours. I want to say thank you in advance personally.
