Our Grandmother Needs Intensive Hospital Treatment

Our loving grandmother, Eline Johannessen, needs help paying for her medical bill. Not long ago we discovered she had a tumor. It was necessary for her well-being to have a serious surgery to remove it, and due to complications the situation became critical and she was forced to get through a second surgery. At age 96, and after two surgeries within a matter of days, she continues to impress us with her strength and resilience. However, it was necessary to take measures of caution by putting her in intensive care.

Eline is the pillar of her family and proof that optimism, discipline and self-care pay off. She has inspired all of us to live a full life and has provided love for all of her family.  

Due to the complications during her stay at the hospital and her need for special care, the bill exceeded our expectations. Which is why we ask you, from the bottom of our heart, to support our grandmother to overcome this difficult time. We have already covered a part of the hospital check, yet Guatemalan private health is very expensive, but necessary when it comes to receiving good medical attention. Our goal is to raise the remaining $10,000 for her.
