Ozioma Prudence Daniel-Obia who passed away June 21, 2024

Hi, my name is Ekene. I am raising funds to support the funeral rites for a very dear friend and brother who lost his pregnant wife to the cold hands of death on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Bradford City, United Kingdom.

Prudence Daniel-Obia left Nigeria in September 2022, together with her husband to the United Kingdom with a promise for a better future, for herself, her family, and her aged parents.

Like most new immigrants, they found it difficult to settle with the new environment, completing tuition fees for her husband’s Masters programme, unusual weather conditions, and other challenges usually associated with new immigrants in the United Kingdom.

Prudence with grit and determination was able to surmount all these challenges. She settled in her new environment in Bradford England. Being the first child of her aged parents, Prudence started fulfilling her promise back to her aged parents.

Late last year, she got pregnant with her first child. Excited for what the future holds, coupled with her new immigration status, Prudence was really hopeful for the coming months, excited to become a new mum, and had the dream of starting a new family with her beloved husband.

However, on Friday, the 21st of June 2024, just three days after her 36th birthday, tragedy struck! Prudence went to bed and did not wake up! She died, together with her unborn babies (she was expecting triplets), leaving behind her distraught husband and aged parents.

The family will be seeking your support, no matter how little, to enable them to give her a proper burial. A little here and there will surely go a long way in helping her husband sort out her burial rites.
