Knee Surgery Recovery

Hi, You may know me as Gman, Dad, Son, Umpah, Husband or Friend. My real name is Greg and I'm needing some help.

10 months ago while I was working I felt a pop in my knee, like cracking your knuckles, it felt great for a split second but soon it was obvious something was wrong.

I finished my night and limped out the door. That was the beginning of a painful road.

August of 2022 I was finally able to get an MRI.

1 doctor told me it was just arthritis, gave me a shot, a prescription, and sent me out the door.

In February of 2023 I saw another Doctor that actually looked at the results of that MRI

And saw I have a torn Meniscus, and it would require surgery.

That surgery will force me to put No weight on that leg for 6 weeks.

No work, No Djing, No driving.

My work does not have short term disability. They have a representative from The Duck Insurance Company. 6 years with the company and I never knew this.

I can sign up now, but it will not cover anything associated with this knee because it is pre existing.

So here I am, swallowing my pride, and asking for help. Just because I'm down, doesn't mean the bills stop.

I need help covering my Bills, and help to get some necessary medical equipment that my insurance doesn't cover.

Anything you can give will help.
