Palenville House Fire

UPDATE:

Just wanted to thank everyone who donated, shared, or did whatever they could to help my family in this situation. We have been truly blessed by everyone's generosity and do not currently need anything else. My mother, father, two brothers, sister, and niece are all still living out of hotels waiting to find a suitable semi-permanent residence that allows dogs. But they do not need any more donations and wanted to express how thankful they are to each and every one of you. We appreciate everyone's donations and time. 

All the money we raised with this fundraiser will be donated directly to my family to use for immediate food items and replacing essential items lost in the fire.

     Today my family lost their home to a fire. This was the house they raised four children (including myself) and countless animals in. Fortunately, every human member of the family was able to escape. Our two dogs, Kaia and Zarro, were also able to escape safely. We are still looking for our cats.

 

     Needless to say, everything they owned was in that house. Every article of clothing, every ounce of food, and every memory consumed within the flames. Every toy and hygiene item for my two-year-old niece, Naomi, was lost. All our dog beds, blankets, and toys.

 

     I don't necessarily have a specific amount of money I need to raise, I just want to let people know that we would appreciate any and all donations, no matter the size. Even direct food items, baby diapers, or dog toys/food would be a huge help and we would be extremely grateful.
