RAGBRAI for a Cause: PanCan

I'm raising money to benefit Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and any donation will help make an impact. My family has been impacted by pancreatic cancer numerous times, and my goal with riding RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) is to raise money for research and advocacy by raising $1 for every mile of this ride (424).

This GoFundMe is for my late uncle Gordon Park MacDougall, who suffered and passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2016. He was the most wonderful person who lit up any room and acted selflessly every single day of his life. He raised my two wonderful cousins and always provided for his family.

While this ride is for Gordon, it is also for the late Dr. William (Bill) Crowle, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2019. He spent his life sharing his talent in music through his pipe organ and piano performance. He taught me the value of musicianship and the happiness of music. Every time I had the privilege of performing with him, he had a smile on his face. He brought light to not only my life, but the lives of so many in the our community.

I am riding for myself, yes, but most importantly I am riding in memoriam of these two wonderful souls. Please help me in raising money in their memory to help research this disease and provide advocacy for those impacted.
