Panniculectomy Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Danielle and over the last 14 and a half months I have lost 200 pounds. My starting weight was 325 pounds and I hit rock bottom when I weighed too much to travel in a life star helicopter when my daughter had a medical emergency. After that day I made it my life mission to change my life. I work full time as an Early Childhood Therapist but unfortunately my insurance did not cover weightloss surgery but I did not let that stop me and I lost it on my own. I started a medication that helped me kick start my weight loss but shortly after insurance stopped covering that too. Again, I did not let that stop me and I continued to lose weight and now maintain. Now that I have lost 200 pounds I have lose skin that is physically uncomfortable. I have developed reoccurring rashes that multiple prescription medications have not resolved. I have submitted pictures to my insurance as many times as I have been able to and appealed as many times as I have been allowed with no success. During the course of my journey I have documented on social media and gained over 100,000 followers that tell me every day they are inspired by me and they have changed their lives too because they found me. Countless times they have encouraged me to start a go fund me but I did not feel like I deserved it. By no means am I asking for donations but have simply created this page in hopes that between donations and small income from tiktok I will be able to have this surgery. My husband and I both work full time jobs and live paycheck to paycheck as both our children have significant health issues that have generated medical bills we are paying off.
