The Sudden Passing of Peter Jr. Udeozor.

Donation protected
I just found that our dear Cousin Peter Jr. Udeozor passed away. Like so many during this time, we are devastated. We never imagined this could happen and as can be imagined we were not prepared.

We are reaching out to our dear friends, family and community to ask for assistance during this difficult time. There are many expenses to cover such as funeral, and expenses related to the The Udeozor Family and many more. Any donation will be much appreciated.

Previous Information

My name is Francisca Ume-Ezeoke and my 27-year-old cousin (from blood), Peter Jr. Chibuzor Udeozor, was recently rushed to the hospital at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu, in Nigeria, after doctors discovered a brain tumor. He was diagnosed on January 11th, 2023.

This tumor has been increasingly aggressive, causing my cousin to have faint spell and sweat symptoms, arising over 2 weeks ago and in need of immediate action from my family, friends, and loved ones. The doctor stated that he needed emergent surgery. The surgery was performed on my cousin and now in need of extended care as he lay in the Intensive Care Unit.

Peter Jr. is the first son of Peter Sr. Udeozor and Charity Udeozor, making this extremely impactful and life-changing event for our family. His family is in need of financial support. Supporting Peter Jr. would give him the best opportunity for recovery and a healthier and happy life.

A response from my Aunt Charity Udeozor:

"Thank you for keeping Chi Boy in your prayers." Making a difference in our lives with all your support would be appreciated by the incredible community for this."

This is important to me:

I Francisca, recently went to Lagos, Nigeria for Christmas 2022, and spent time with my cousin Peter Jr., not knowing that he would be diagnosed with a brain tumor. When I met my cousin this past Christmas after 17 years and not seeing each other, our connection as cousins was powerful and everyone noticed it instantly. His charisma and enthusiasm were infectious and he can keep a room filled with laughter. We made a deal that we would stay connected even when I leave Nigeria and he wanted me to be there for him and support his future Endeavor. I promised him, I would. He is the heart of his family and one of the smartest people I know. Finding out that he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor a day after I arrived back in the United States, shattered my world. Exhausting all of my nursing expertise, I knew I had to take matters into my hand to reach out to my extended family and friends to help his family in this time of need.

I was taken aback by the strength of Peter Jr.'s parents, Peter Sr. & Charity, who called me to speak to my cousin before going into surgery. Peter Jr. told me lastly on January 11th, 2023, how much he missed me and loved me. Not knowing he was going into surgery and he has not been able to speak to me since that day. No family should go through this alone.

The outpour of financial support from my Parents and Uncles to support my cousin Peter Jr. has been so helpful. A young man with a bright future in Engineering, can be given a second chance at life. I hope we can continue to support The Udeozor family through this crisis and help them find the light at the end of the dark tunnel for my cousin.

Items that Peter Jr. and his family Peter Sr. & Charity Udeozor need financial support with:

We are thankful that some medical bills have partially been taken care of with the contributions from my parents Chief Ogbuefi Eze Igwe & Lolo Odi Ofu Ume-Ezeoke, The Ume-Ezeoke's Family, and Peter Jr.'s Engineer Job. However, much of the additional support Peter Jr. needs to recover and thrive is not covered, as listed below:

  • Multiple Neurological Exams Fees.
  • Craniotomy Surgery Fees.
  • Multiple Surgeon & Doctors Fees.
  • Intensive Care Medications were Provided.
  • Operation Equipment Usage.
  • Bedding Usage.
  • Operation Room Usage.
  • Intensive Care Unit Room Usage.
  • Travel Expenses.
  • Long Term Care, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
  • Follow-Ups for many more years.

To give hope and helping the people I love the most in this world is one of my greatest strenghts. I believe that we can impact the world by contributing to Peter Jr's life.
