Tomlinson family

The Bixby community has been shocked and saddened to learn that one of our teachers, Mrs. Tomlinson, lost her home and all of her possessions overnight in a house fire on Wednesday, December 2nd. Mrs. Tomlinson is a long-time Spartan and a mom of three teaching history at Bixby 9th Grade Center/High School and sponsoring the Senior Class and Student Council. According to the news report, an armed intruder entered her home and engaged in a very lengthy standoff with police. The standoff ended when the suspect set fire to Mrs. Tomlinson's home, which resulted in a total loss. This loss is just unimaginable, and it is even more heartbreaking given that this incident occurred during the holiday season and in the midst of a pandemic. We know that many in our community would like to help the Tomlinson family with immediate needs, so this Go Fund Me has been established for donations that will help the family with food, clothing, and temporary housing.
