National Youth Leadership Forum:Explore Stem

Hi, my name is Matthew Dreher. Only two students were chosen out of my school for Stem! I have worked really hard to keep a 4.0 grade average. I also won the Triple AAA Award. The Tripple AAA Award is Academics, Attitude and Actions. I want to be a RN and also earn a degree in Technology. Being able to go to this would mean so much to me. The Benifits of going to stem is enhancing academic skills. I will also hear a former Astronaut speak, I will use critical thinking skills while practicing medical techniques during a realistic simulation title, When Care Is Hours Away! I will get to do workshops that will help me choose what college I want to go to. I will also get to create a three dimensional model using CAD software, gain a stronger understanding of the principles of engineering in a robotics design and challenge, improve my communication skills while interacting with subject matter expert’s and have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into the STEM strand of my choice through specialized labs. I will get to meet other students from all over the world. I dream of getting to go to Loyola University in Chicago IL. I am asking for any support I can get so I can raise as much as I can of the $2,700 I have to have to get to go. I will sell baked goods at my grandma’s garage sale to raise money so come to 1209 Westridge Dr. on June 3rd and 4th opening at 8:00 am to ? Both days. I will also have a booth at the Back Roads Street Vendors in downtown Atchison Kansas. On April 23, 2022. Any support I can get will be so Greatly Appreciated. Thank to whom ever will support me!
