Pizzeria Otto Employee Fund

Dear Neighbors,

On Monday, March 16th, governor Kate Brown ordered all restaurants in Oregon to close their dining rooms and transition to a take-out only service model to increase social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

As a result of this decision, we were forced to lay off 80% of our hard-working kitchen and dining room staff.  Some of these folks have been unable to access unemployment insurance, or did not have long enough work history to qualify for much assistance. We are hoping to ease the burden on our wonderful, talented and dedicated employees by raising some money to help them get through this tough time.

Please consider donating something, anything at all, for all of the smiles, great service and amazing food you've enjoyed during your visits to Otto. 

We are hoping to have jobs for all of these fine folks to return to, but with the uncertainty of the current situation, we don’t know whether that will be weeks or months, if at all, so anything you can do will help.
