Please Help Bocelli the Alpaca

Hello, my name is Mandy and I'm trying to raise money for my beautiful boy, Bocelli. He has recently been diagnosed with a very rare condition in Alpacas, affecting the inner ear, nose and throat. A recent CT scan at the Leahurst Equine Hospital in Neston revealed significant damage to the bulla in his left inner ear, which has left him deaf and with some slight facial paralysis. The bulla is completely blocked and bone has started to 're-form' around it. What started as a bacterial infection has now become a fungal infection, with the worst type of fungal being present - the one most resistent to antibiotics. He now needs an operation to try and scrape clear the bulla, so that he can move forward with anti-fungal medication, in the hope that this will resolve the problem. The surgery itself is very risky - the access point is very small being between the top of the jaw and base of the ear. Two main nerves also run through the side of the face and around the bulla, so risk of further neurological damage is quite high. The surgery itself has never been performed at Leahurst, only documented, but this is the only route open to him and the surgical team and vets supporting him are confident that this gives him the best chance possible of a full recovery.

With costs increasing on a daily basis, I'm asking PLEASE for help financially for my boy as funds have now dried up. Bocelli is only 4 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. He's such a sweet natured, gentle boy and has been a little superhero throughout this whole process - one which has caused him pain, endless injections, and much discomfort.
