Please help Craig Vicars

Hi, my name is Shelley Grissom and Im starting this page for one of the kindest, most genuine, always with a smile, individuals in the horse industry, Craig Vicars. He and his wife Whitney Vicars need our help!

Craig was involved in a horse accident on March 22, 2023 that resulted in injuries requiring him to be care flighted from Walquist Quarter Horses, in Cleburne, TX to Ft. Worth Harris Methodist Hospital. He underwent surgery yesterday morning to repair fractures of the tibia and fibula of the right leg and close the wound that was a result of the fractures. He is currently still in the hospital while they aim to control pain and monitor for possible infection.

Craig works for his father-in-law, Bruce Walquist and is the sole source of income for himself and his wife Whitney. While expected to recover, he has a long road ahead including recovery and physical therapy. He will be out for several months from training and riding and could really use our help to offset the major medical expenses he has incurred.

All money raised will go directly to the Vicars to help offset medical expenses incurred with care flight, surgery and hospital stay as well recovery.
