Please Help Jared's Road To Recovery!

Jared Matteson was in a motorcycle accident on Lookout Mountain on Thursday, August 31st. He crashed into a guard rail and flew 100 feet down. He landed on a pile of rocks and poison ivy. Fire rescue had to do a tactical rescue because he was trapped 100 feet down for approximately an hour. Once they were able to reach him, he was then taken to the nearest hospital. He has 2 broken bones in his lower left arm and one broken bone in his upper left arm. He has little feeling in his left hand, and there is barely a pulse. He had a 5-and-a-half-hour surgery on his left arm where he had to have two blood transfusions. They repaired his humerus and one bone in his lower arm. They will have another surgery tomorrow where they will do an artificial vein and skin graft. Within a couple of days, he will have another surgery where they will repair the other bone in his lower arm. He will be in the hospital for at least a week.
