Hello, our names are Du-Shawn, Caroline and Tammy, and we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support the Thompson family.

Cassi and Mark Thompson are currently facing a very challenging time, and as their friends, we have witnessed the toll it's taken on them.

As many of you know, their beautiful baby girl Brooklyn made her grand appearance in this world just a few days ago. Brooklyn is strong, like her parents, but she faces many challenges in the coming days, months and years due to a heart defect.

As we type this, their sweet Brooklyn is currently undergoing her first, of several, open heart surgeries at the University of Virgina Hospital in Charlottesville. This will require Mark and Cassi to take significant time off of work and stay in a hotel in Charlottesville for an indefinite period of time.

Cassi and Mark would be too proud to ask for any help, but we know they're in need of financial assistance. Any contribution, big or small, would make a world of difference to them as they have a long road ahead of them.

Please help us reach our goal of $6000 to help them with their next few mortgage payments, auto payments, and many other expenses that will arise over the next several months.
