Please continue to help Tanya’s husband and Son

Hi. We are Amanda, Shannon and Nicole. We are starting a GoFundMe for our good friends Tanya, Ryan and their son Anthony.

On Sunday November 13, 2022 our dear friend Tanya wasn’t feeling well. Her husband and 8 year old son went to do some errands and give her a couple hours alone. When they returned Ryan noticed Tanya was much worse and called 911. Tanya was taken to to Surrey Hospital due to extreme abdominal pain.

Tanyas vitals dropped. The staff at SMH discovered a lesion on her colon. It would turn out to be cancer. Tanya was given an oxygen mask to assist her breathing. Tuesday night Tanya vomited. She aspirated causing her to have a heart attack. It took the staff 7 minutes to revive her. We later found out the heart attack caused her kidneys to fail. She was in full sepsis. She has been placed into a medically induced coma. We are waiting to find out if there is brain damage.

Tanya is the primary caregiver of her son, Anthony, who is autistic. Her husband Ryan is a tech for a company and is their sole provider.

Due to Tanya’s hospitalization Ryan is unable to be at work. He is taking care of their son, doing his best to keep him in his routine, while making sure to be at his wife’s side every moment he can. He has 2 weeks vacation with his company but unfortunately that is it at this time.

We are asking anyone who is able to help by donating or sharing this campaign to please do so. Although Ryan doesn’t want handouts we know the financial toll this is going to take.
