EMERGENCY SURGERY: HELP WEBSTER WALK AGAIN
Donation protected
Calling all dog lovers: We, at K9rr have received an injured dog that we desperately want to help, and we need a village for this undertaking. This is Webster's tale: Approximately 7wks ago, Webster was hit by a car. He had multiple abrasions, fractured ribs and we thought only one damaged leg. His abrasions and ribs have healed, but sadly his front right leg is beyond repair so it must be amputated. We had him brought to us so we could have his surgery done and then find him a loving, forever home. It turns out his right rear leg had an undiagnosed stress fracture so only one week ago while waiting for his surgery, he got his leg stuck between the bars of his kennel. While trying to free himself, he twisted his leg and it snapped in half. Since now both of his right legs are not useable, he cannot even stand. We have a surgeon that can repair his back leg and amputate his front leg during the same surgery. The report is that Webster will be able to stand almost immediately, and then will begin to walk again!! Please help this happen for Webster! He is a very sweet, 2yr old, 17lb boy that deserves to live out his life, running, playing and giving his affection and loyalty to a deserving person. His surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 28th. Thank you so much for your help and consideration! Please post and forward this link to others that also have a heart for helping dogs.
