The unexpected loss of Ricky Hodge ❤️

On Sunday May the 12th my brother Ricky Hodge went to the ER for severe stomach pain (Hernia) On Monday May the 13th he was admitted in the hospital and emergency surgery was performed, after surgery he was placed on oxygen because he was having trouble breathing. Ricky remained in the hospital for observation, pain management and breathing issues, he was still in need of oxygen as he was complaining he could not breathe and not feeling well at 7:00 o'clock last night he began declining rapidly and was unable to breath. Ricky coded and doctors were able to bring him back about 30 minutes later he coded again, life saving measures were performed unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. My brother passed away this morning May the 19th around 1 am. The loss of my brother is devastating and very heartbreaking for us all! He was only 36 years old and still had so much more life to live. He leaves behind a son, fiancee stepchildren and all his family and friends. His death was very unexpected! Ricky did not have life insurance. Our family is asking for prayers during this difficult time and donations to help with his cremation, anything helps and is very much appreciated. Ricky's cause of death is not yet know an autopsy will be performed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date as of right now we are still trying to process his loss.
