Please Support The Rick “Ricky” Castellana Family
My name is Matthew Urbaniak. I am creating this GoFundMe page to support the Castellana family who have always been a close friend of the family. Rick Castellana served as a Cook County Sheriff’s Deputy for 35 years before retiring in 2019 and taking a job as a security guard at a bank. On Friday, June 11, 2021 Rick left for work never to return home. Rick was suddenly taken from us when he was ambushed as he stood guard outside of a bank during an attempted bank robbery. Rick dedicated his life to protecting and serving others and now it’s our turn to help support him and his family. All donations will be given to Ricks wife Patricia and two kids Caitlin and Michael to help cover any costs associated with the funeral. This was so unexpected and his family needs the support/donations to move forward. Any surplus the Castellana family wants to donate to a cause correlating to a fallen police officer in Rick’s name.
