#ProjectSalinong - Housing for #UlyssesPh Victims
Donation protected
Dearest family and friends:
As you may or may not know, our home country of the Philippines was hit with a category 4 typhoon Ulysses this past November. One of the hardest hit regions of San Jose, Baggao, Cagayan caused catastrophic destruction and displaced thousands of families who lost their homes in the typhoon which triggered massive flooding. With the ongoing global pandemic due to the Coronavirus, these families are in even greater risk of danger and in need of new homes. Thousands are unable to return to their old homes due to the risk of landslides and soil erosion.
We would like to support the victims of the typhoon through OPERATION SALINONG PROJECT initiated by Fr. Gerry Perez (Parish Priest of St. Joseph the Worker Parish) - A shelter assistance program to help those whose houses were totally damaged.
The operation will help to build low-cost housing worth fifty thousand pesos (PHP 50,000), roughly $1400 CAD each unit for those with no wherewithal to construct their homes.
We’ve decided to help with this project and kindly ask for any amount of monetary donations. No amount is too small - every cent is of great help.
"You will give a family not just a house but a home with renewed hope that life can and will be better. "
For transparency, please follow Gerry Perez on Facebook for his continous public updates on Project Salinong.
Thank you for your time, kindness and generosity.
Sincerely,
The Hombrebueno family
