Puffin children's ward in CUH

Hi guys as some of you may know our 8 year old daughter Mia had three strokes over the last few weeks. We were admitted to the puffin ward last Thursday and have been there since trying to find out what caused them and make sure she doesn't have anymore. Since we arrived on puffin we have been given the most amazing care by all the staff and drs on the ward. We have had nurses stay on late as they wanted to be with Mia while she was having some of her scans done, our doctors have done everything they can to make sure Mia is ok. The ward has its own play room which is run solely on donations from the public which makes its hard for them to keep up with supplies for it. They are lacking some of the basic things on the ward, such as an ice machine for the children who can't take fluids, there is TVs in most rooms but not one of them have a remote so they can't be turned on. The list goes on.

We don't know yet how long we will be on puffin ward but we really want to do something to show our appreciation and to give something back to the staff and the other children on the ward. No matter how little please consider making a donation. All funds will be given directly to the puffin ward and will only be spent on funding puffin. Thanks very much everyone ❤️
