Helping Hayden ❤️

I have set this page up as many of you have come to me and asked how you can help or show your support for Annette , my crew mate / friend. She has worked for Nwas for 24 years and in January this year she received the devastating and heartbreaking news that her son Hayden was diagnosed with an aggressive primary bone cancer called osteosarcoma in his pelvis just a few months before his 18th birthday .

His journey so far has been tough to say the least from excruciating pain, intensive chemotherapy, kidney injuries and infections not to mention the mental impact it’s had on him.

Hayden was hoping to have surgery to remove his tumour which would have been life changing in itself, but his surgeon has now said that the tumour is inoperable due to the size and complications of it spreading further into his spine

Hayden for now is continuing with his chemotherapy whilst looking into different treatment options, which unfortunately are very limited.

Hayden has been so brave and continues to be optimistic but is understandably worried about his future

It would be amazing if we could raise money for Hayden for anything he may need like future treatments outside of the NHS or a holiday of a lifetime or anything he would like or would help because he deserves it ❤️

I’m sure he would love to read some messages of support and lift his mood which has been very low lately. Thankyou in advance xx
