Stand with Nader: From War to Recovery

Hello kind people,

My name is Kouver Bingham, and like many of you, I've been witnessing the horrors inflicted on Palestinian people in Gaza via social media. For months now, the situation has become more and more dire, with the continuous bombardment of all areas of Gaza, as well as the blocking of humanitarian aid which would provide any sort of relief. The suffering we have all witnessed is too much.

I created this fundraising campaign to help my friend Nader raise the amount needed to survive his life.

It's a privilege for me to be able to help Nader in this way - and I hope you'll join me in giving whatever you can. Rest assured that ALL money will be sent to Nader and we will post updates here.

Nader AbuRaida 28 years old, I’m software developer , I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart.

I hesitated a lot before writing what I'm writing today because I come from a family that isn't used to asking for help, but rather accustomed to helping others as much as possible.

Today, I write from Gaza Strip after we were displaced from my house in east of KhanYounis, which was destroyed and rendered uninhabitable due to this cursed war. We had dreams of a better tomorrow, but all these dreams changed into nightmares.

We are living through the worst days of our lives throughout this period, and We are still living. My family lives through all kinds of torment and injustice. Our neighbors, some of our friends, and relatives were killed and martyred in this war as if my family is waiting for its turn. Most days they did not sleep because of the frightening sounds that they heard every night while they waited for the sun to rise until this suffering ended, but it continued.

During this period, most of the food we eat is unhealthy.

We have reached the point of eating one unhealthy meal of food, even though this meal is no longer available due to the severe shortage of food resources in Gaza.

We left our house on the first day of the war, to shelter centers west of Khan Yunis, and after the occupation forces’ incursion into west KhanYunis, we were displaced again towards the refugee camps in the city of Rafah , and now we live in a tent.

I feel suffocated as I write this, I cannot help my family with anything, hoping that they can start over and get treatment for our physical and psychological suffering, and I also need to complete fertility treatment in Egypt, because I am married. For 7 years, I have been suffering from infertility and need in vitro fertilization, because before the war I was receiving treatment and stopped it because of the war.

I want my wife and I to go to Egypt for treatment to undergo an in vitro fertilization procedure.

A few days before the war, we were receiving treatment at a medical center in Gaza, and sperm samples were frozen, but unfortunately they were spoiled due to the bombing and destruction of the center in which the samples were frozen.

I hope you can help in providing the amount of travel and treatment to achieve my dream of having a baby.

The following is a comprehensive breakdown of expenses, provided that there is transparency and understanding:

* Minimum cost of living: $3,000 per month.

* Rafah crossing/Egypt: $5,000 per person.

* Transaction fee of 2.9% + £0.25 is automatically deducted from each donation. This adds up to at least $4,000 just for the Gofundme fees.

* Infertility treatment and sperm sample freezing $3,000.

* The cost of the IVF implantation process, the necessary injections, treatments, and medical tests is $5,000.

I lost all sources of income and everything I had saved over years of hard work. There is nothing left for me but God's mercy to wait for.

I lost my job due to the war, as the headquarters of the company I was working for was destroyed, and in light of the power and Internet outage, I lost my job completely.

I humbly request your assistance in what I've written above and i am ashamed of myself, but my life is more precious than my embarrassment.

And any amount, even if small, will make a big difference in survive my family’s life
