Imagine....,44 years of age,A lovely partner,a beautiful 5 year old daughter,.Good work/social life., healthy,life ..is good!! Feeling a little under the weather and decided to get checked out,..
Steve (Yorkie) 44, has just recently been diagnosed with Acute myeloid Leukemia (AML),As you can imagine this is the worst news anyone can hear from a doctor,and is now in Blackpool queen victoria hospital undergoing chemotherapy for a gruelling 10weeks.And a further 10 weeks with a 2 week rest period in between.He has just finished his first week,but depending on infections that could set him back weeks.
He has a partner Julie and a little girl ,Eva ,5 years at home in Barrow ,Cumbria,who, have to drive twice a week to and from the hospital to be by his side,,BUT the car has major mechanical problems and won’t see them through. It just recently broke down at Greenodd (10 miles from home) had it fixed by a lovely friend who told Julie it needs to go to the scrapyard. This is their only lifeline to be with Steve and comfort him in this time of desperate need.
we are raising as much as we can for a more reliable car that will put in the miles to get them all together to be able to support him...Pennies and pounds all add up. If anyone could donate what they can to fund a more reliable car for the family that would be fantastic. It would mean the world to them all. Thank you all . Xxx
