HARVEY CALLIEU Raise money for children with brain injury

Donation protected
Hi, my name is kennedy.
My Husband Harvey Callieu in the front picture unfortunately passed away at 21.
He was such a vibrant, young, hilariously funny, kind, caring and generous person.
We are still in complete shock of his passing as he didn’t have any underlying health issues.
He had been in pain at the back of his head for a few weeks so I did everything I could to help him, doctors appointments, emergency appointments, a&e… multiple trips to the hospital. They kept saying he has anxiety and everything was fine with him. Until it was too late and he started to have severe seizures and symptoms at home that I couldn’t handle any more. We rushed him to a&e and they still wanted to send him home and said he has extreme exhaustion, please bare in mind he is 21 years old.
After his mother pleaded with the doctors for him to not be sent home but instead him have a cat scan they finally found something and he had to be rushed to Southampton neurological hospital. We found this out at 5am… we managed to get over to Southampton before he did, he arrived at 11am and unfortunately it was too late. He had arrived completely brain damaged and had to be on life support to keep him alive. The Southampton hospital did everything they could to save him with multiple operations but from the treatment on the Isle of Wight before hand they had left it too late and he was already brain dead.

We never got to say our goodbyes with him being lucid. The Isle of Wight doctors and staff at hospitals let him down completely and now I’m without a husband, harvey is without the rest of his life and everyone is missing a friend and family member.

We are completely devastated, but harvey was such a generous person, and was so kind and caring that I don’t want any donations towards me or the family or any funeral costs. However these donations will go towards children who have Brian injury to be able to help towards them rehabilitate, go to events, and the ability to enjoy the rest of the life they have to live.
Experience a passenger ride in a super car, enjoy a special meal… learn to walk again.

this would mean a lot to me and would have meant a lot to harvey as well.
thank you for taking the time to read this!
