Remembering Austin: Funeral Fund
Donation protected
On November 18, 2023, Austin Lattana known lovingly by many as “Jeffery” was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that forever changed his life and the lives of those who loved him. Over the past year, Austin fought bravely through immense challenges. The accident left him unable to walk or talk, and it was believed he was partially paralyzed. Despite his struggles, he never lost the kindness and warmth that defined him. Two weeks ago, I spoke to him, holding onto hope that things were improving. But sadly, on November 17, 2024, Austin passed away after battling pneumonia that had overtaken his lungs. His last moments were spent on a ventilator, surrounded by love.
Austin was so much more than his struggles. He was silly, sweet, and had the biggest heart. He loved making others laugh with his jokes and cherished family above all else. During the holidays, he would spend every last dollar to ensure our happiness, no matter how big or small the gift. He believed in the joy of giving and in bringing people together.
As we prepare to say goodbye to Austin with a funeral planned for early December, we are humbly asking for help to cover the costs of his service. Our goal is $7,000, and every contribution, big or small will make a difference, just like Austin’s thoughtful Christmas gifts always did. Thank you for helping us honor the life of a man who gave so much of himself to those he loved.
