Rental $$ help needed in NYC

Hello, my name is Christopher. I am 63 years old and single living in the same studio apartment in NYC for the last 30 years. I have managed to keep up with all my bills and rent and utilities until now.

I lost a well-paying job in 2021 and now I am almost starting over in income level from 10 years ago and I am having a very hard time with my rent.

I am behind in all my credit cards, utilities and rent and now my landlord is threatening to evict me if I don't find the money to pay my back rent for 3 months. I have been paying what I can but I can not get a head of my three-month rent deficit.

My mom and dad are gone and I have no relatives who can help. I have never been married so no extended family. It is just me, my two pups Gina and Franco and my cat Penny against the world :). I do not qualify for loans (due to credit issues) and I was turned down by NYS State rental assistance ERAP. My 401k is gone since the 2008 crash that almost wiped me out as well. I dont want to apply for Social Security early as I will be locked into the low rate and I am scared of what happens when I get older.

I need help. I am a good person and I just need some temp help to pay my back rent to get on my feet with the other bills.

I hope anyone can help me a little bit.
