BCF's Charity Cycle: Ride Warwickshire
Join BCF and your industry colleagues in BCF's Charity Cycle: Ride Warwickshire, taking place 13th September, starting at the Chesford Grange in Kenilworth. We're raising money for four amazing charities nominated by BCF members, including Bowel Cancer UK which has been nominated by Mike Bishop of BYK Gardner.
Around 16,000 people die from bowel cancer each year, making it the UK’s second biggest cancer killer. However, this shouldn’t be the case as the disease is treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early. An estimated 9 in 10 people will survive bowel cancer if diagnosed at the earliest stage. Bowel Cancer UK’s “Never Too Young” campaign is leading the change for younger bowel cancer patients. The campaign is giving younger patients a voice and changing clinical practice and policy to stop people dying of bowel cancer under 50. They are determined to save lives, improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer, and their vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.
