RIP Angel Baby & Recovery for Mum - Elodie

Elodie and Andrew began sharing their lives together around 3 years ago, and recently celebrated their marriage on the 16th of September 2023, and had a baby boy due on the 2nd of December 2023.

In a blink of an eye, Elodie, Andrew and Zac’s life has been turned upside down; On the Friday the 20th of October 2023, Elodie who was 34 weeks pregnant was involved in a serious car accident on Old-Dookie Rd near Shepparton.

Unfortunately, upon arrival via air ambulance to the hospital, the unimaginable and devastating news that no parent or family member should ever need to hear was advised – Elodie and Andrew’s little baby has grown his wings and was in the hands of heaven above, leaving behind a caring and loving mum, hard-working and dedicated father, and joyous and excited brother to be.

Elodie has undergone extension surgery and remains in hospital with Andrew by her side.

Elodie will be required to stay in hospital for weeks if not months before her ability to be discharged home, Elodie will have a long road to recovery ahead.

Andrew is a self-employed fencer in the local region, and Zac is a Year 1 student at a local primary school.

This go-fund-me page has been set up to assist Andrew, Elodie and Zac with monetary support to reduce the financial burden and allow the family the necessary space to process their grief without the added economic pressures and provide adequate supports for Elodie’s return home to her family.

Elodie and Andrew have said to me “We will only used the funds raised as necessary” and “Any and all remaining funds will be re-donated back to those in need, the hospitals, red nose Australia, others going through what we are going through right now!”

Any number of thoughts, prayers, generosity, or support would mean the world to Elodie & Andrew.
