Medical bills for David Avilia

Hello, I have opened up this fundraiser for a long time childhood friend. He was involved in an accident at Family Dollar to where he was left, unconscious and sent immediately to the emergency room where they found out he was bleeding internally from the brain. Once David Avila was released from the hospital he was extremely confused on how everything happened. Last thing he recalls was being at the family dollar. David is suffering from short-term memory loss and needs to be taken care of 24/7 . I have brought it upon myself to help David Avila. David Avila is currently living in my home because he cannot be left alone. He takes several medication’s and also needs to be taken to many doctors appointments, due to all the injuries, he suffered the date of May 19 of 2023. As I and his family investigated on what happened May 19 of 2023 we got little to no information. On police report it states that David Avila did not want to press charges when he was completely unconscious. We think he may have woken up at one point and made that statement but clearly he wasn’t in his right state of mind. Also decided to go to Family Dollar to see if we can get some clarity and what we were told the people that worked there when the incident happened were all fired. To top it off the video footage of May 19 of 2023 was completely erased. We are trying to get justice for David Avila. He is not the David Avila we once knew. He tends to forget things mid conversations. He starts speaking of other things that don’t add up. Constantly coming out of appointments with no answers. Myself and his family are trying to get justice for David. And I have opened this fundraiser for whoever can donate and help David Avila with medical bills, every day needs. David Avila has always been a very hard-working man and due to this incident he’s lost his job and can no longer work. We are hoping and praying that he gets justice for whatever happened the day of May 19, 2023. We are still trying to get to the bottom of the story, and will somehow try our best to get justice until then go fund me is what we can use to see if anyone is willing to help David Avila.
