On Saturday November 16 my brother Dylan Clark was in a rollover vehicle accident that has left him paralyzed. He has a complete tear in the spinal cord between his C5 and C6 vertebrae. He had surgery at the U of A hospital and is now in the Neurological ICU. The surgery was for a lack of a better term to rebuild his spine. This means rods, screws, fusion and that type of thing. We do not have an exact picture of what functions, if any he will regain once we get him into recovery. I am posting this fundraiser in order to aid Dylan in his recovery whatever that looks like. These funds will aid his wife and 2 children to be able to put life on pause and be there to support him through his long and intensive recovery. It may be something as simple as a meal, a hotel room, basic medical devices or accessibility items. All the way up to and including some cutting edge medical advancements that are taking place in places like Germany and Mexico that are dramatically improving functions in spinal cord injury patients.

Please be safe and hug your loved ones. Things can change in an instant.

Thank you to all that have already sent kind messages and offered support. It is appreciated more than words can describe.

It will be a while before Dylan can take visitors. But when he can we will let everyone know so that we can flood him woth support and positivity.
