Robbed of $7600 trying to buy a car.

A little back story about myself. I am a single mother of two amazing boys. I moved from Ohio to Dallas about 2 years ago all in hopes of creating a better life for myself and my boys. But moving here has not been smooth sailing to say the least. I was involved in my very first car accident when I got here and that totaled out my car. The check I received went to paying off the balance of the car so I scrambled up some change to get myself back driving and back on the road. Four months after my accident the car I was driving was STOLEN!! It was a cheaper car so no I did not have a full coverage insurance policy on it.  I’m a firm believer that things happen in 3’s which is not always a good thing because the third thing is what brings me here. After months and months of saving I managed to save 8k to purchase a new car in cash!! I was so proud of myself it took a lot of hard work and sacrifice. I found this amazing deal on OfferUp (too good to be true) a 2016 Nissan Maxima for $7600. I met the guy “Alberto” test drove the vehicle and gave him the money, in cash ‍♀️ (I know I’m a dummy) I take the title to the tax office and they tell me the car belongs to a young lady “Victoria” and it’s also a lien on the vehicle!!! The title looked so legit I was shocked! But the vehicle was not reported stolen. After hours of research I find out that the owner of the vehicle (Victoria) is in JAIL! My theory is that the guy sold me this car to get the money for bail and once she’s out THEN she will report it stolen and claim she had no clue what was going on. I can’t prove she was in on this but I just have a gut feeling. I am asking for a blessing I am asking for help I am asking for anything! The police have been contacted but I’m sure you all have realized there’s not much they can do! He is probably gone in the wind somewhere with my hard earned money. I do have the vehicle still but I can’t drive it cause I can’t register it in my name. Once it’s reported stolen I’ll have to surrender it over to the police anyways...Please help anything is appreciated. Thank you
