<div>Stewkey was diagnosed in July of 2023 with aggressive and advanced lung cancer which has metastasized to his adrenals, brain, and lymphatic system. He has been given 1-2 years, provided his successful ability to withstand the chemotherapy and radiation treatments he has recently just begun.

<div>The medication for each treatment costs $7,000. He will undergo a treatment every three weeks and this process will be ongoing for the remainder of his life.

<div>Stewkey has been a beloved member of the rock music community for nearly six decades. From his iconic work as lead singer for <em>NAZZ</em> to his work with pre-incarnations of <em>Cheap Trick</em> in the bands <em>Fuse</em> and <em>Sick Man of Europe, </em>among many others, he has brought joy to fans across the globe.
