Robin May Gonzalez Memorial College Fund

Friends and Family:

On January 22, Robin May Gonzalez was tragically and unexpectedly taken from the Earth, and with this, her and her husband Jay's two sons, Jeremy and Joshua lost their mother Robin May Gonzalez.

It is with this great loss in mind that the Robin May Gonzalez Memorial Fund was formed, and that we ask for your contributions.

At the young age of 41, Robin was many things to many people. The mother of her two young boys, and wife to her husband Jay Gonzalez. An only daughter and sister. An aunt and cousin to many. She was a friend to more people than could hope to be counted. In addition to her own, she was a passionate and caring teacher to the children of many others.

Robin's entire world revolved around her two boys, her husband, her family and friends, and to Robin, her friends were her family. Robin was all about community and relationships and cared so much for so many people. She was passionate about keeping everyone connected and was always available to talk, to listen, to be a friend, to try to put people together, and to just try to enjoy and help the people around her.

In her professional life, she was extremely passionate about teaching and education and had such a great desire and love for teaching that it would be impossible to separate the teacher from the person Robin was. Her presence, passion, and force were unmatched, unprecedented, and immeasurable in everything she did.

Of all the things that brought joy to Robin in life, two things were most dear to her. Her two sons Jeremy and Joshua, and husband Jay, and her passion for education and teaching. As those people who were lucky enough to have known Robin and to call her a friend, it's now time to show our appreciation to Robin and make our presence known.

Joshua and Jeremy lost their mother at far too young of an age. The Robin May Gonzalez Memorial Fund has therefore been set up to allow us to help ensure the future of Jeremy and Joshua's education. As her brother, I can imagine no greater gift to her than in her memory we let Robin know that we heard her, that we acknowledge her, and that we help fulfill her wishes and dreams for her two beautiful boys.

In the spirit of Robin May Gonzalez, let's be loud and generous with our contributions, the way Robin was loud and generous with her love for us all. Let's help give Jeremy and Joshua the best opportunity in education and learning; in the name of their devoted and loving Mother.

Contributions to the Robin May Gonzalez Memorial Fund will be used first to set-up educational savings plans for her sons Joshua and Jeremy, and will also help in covering a portion of Robin's final expenses.

From her family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and for your thoughts, prayers and contributions during this time of great need.
