In memory of Robin Schorr Benjamin

Robin Schoor Benjamin entered heaven around 6:00PM 0n 8/11/2023.

In her lifetime she had quadrupole bipass surgery , had rheumatoid arthritis, breast cancer, copd, heart and lung disease, was diabetic, allergic to iron, vertigo, anemic , had 1 1/2 amputated toes .. honestly the list goes on and on. She used to tell our family what an amazing medical case study she was. Through all of her health issues she continued to fight, advocating for herself medically throughout the duration of her life.

On 8/11/2023, our mommy ascended to heaven. We know she was greeted by so many family members that have passed on as well as loving family pets.

She left behind a husband, 4 children and 3 son in laws that she saw as her children, Cody who although shared with Nori her dog son, two grandchildren, 4 grand dogs , 4 grand cats and 7 grand chickens. She has also left behind an amazing mother who went above and beyond in life and death to be a pillar of strength for our family and step father that embraced her as if she was his own, being a listening ear and encouraging her always, her sister and brother that she loved so so much and countless nieces nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Her grandchildren lit up her world. If you ever spoke to my mom, she mentioned them. Please keep her memory alive and tell stories that make you smile. She was such an incredible singer and an even better mommy and grandma. She cheered us all on as we accomplished and succeeded, supported us through our struggles and gave medical advice better than someone who was licensed.

Having our families blessing, she will he buried alongside her daddy. Someone that left the world too soon and she had a bond with like nothing else in this world.

Although she had many health issues, planning for her to leave this earthly plane wasn’t something any of us prepared for. She was one tough cookie and we truly thought she would outlive us all.

We've honestly not prepared for any of the costs and leaving it to her siblings and my grandma isn't something we are ok with as they took care of her so many years. The costs were trying to account for are the flight and burial expenses as the plot has been selflessly given to my mother by the woman who gave her life and took care of her from birth and throughout her life and loved her unconditionally, even if my mom was a tough cookie.

Any and all donations are welcome. If you'd prefer to donate outside of the GoFundMe, please reach out to one of us kids and we are happy to coordinate or you can donate directly to whatever companies we work with. I don't know how any of that works.
