Roy Tsosie Funeral
Donation protected
My father Roy Tsosie passed on August 8, 2020. Born August 6, 1955 in Mountain Home, Idaho. As his dad was an Airman, dad was raised by his grandparents and Aunt Amy in Nazlini/Flatrock, AZ on the Navajo Reservation. He was a Chinle Wildcat, amd always make sure to say 'Go Wildcats, Kill the Roadrunners' to be funny! He shared his stories of being made fun of because he had red streaks on his clothes from his aunt washing his clothes in a river. He still persevered and went on to higher education. He went to college at Eastern AZ College. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for 38+ years with Local 359. He worked for JB Rogers, Tesla, Intel, Microchip and many projects across the US. His biggest accomplishment in life was to ensure his family was happy. That was his first question, 'Are you happy?' He enjoyed working hard for his family but also enjoying life as well.
T'áá hwó' aií t'éego t'eya (Navajo) that means 'Life is what you make it' He had a tough time losing our brother Kiel but they are together again.
Our dad had 2 life insurance policies. With his Union 357 there was a technicality that it needs to be paid a month in advance. He paid for August and the payment would have needed to be for September too. So no policy there. His second policy is now requiring 2 years medical history and then an approval process that may take up to 90 days with no guarantee of a payout.
Any monetary donations will greatly be accepted at this time.
